This guide will explain how to reset and wipe your computer in an alternative way.
Please be sure to try Reset and wipe a computer (1st Method) first if you haven't done so.
If that method doesn't work or you can't get to the settings screen please follow the steps.
Using Advanced Startup Options to reset your PC:
Access Advanced Startup:

- Restart your PC. While it is restarting, press and hold the
Shiftkey and select "Restart" from the Start menu or login screen.Choose Troubleshoot:
- In the blue Advanced Startup Options menu, select "Troubleshoot".
- Restart your PC. While it is restarting, press and hold the
Reset This PC:

- Select "Reset this PC".
- Choose "Remove everything".
- Depending on your internet speed you might choose local reinstall. It will install updates later.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the reset process.

If you are not able to get in the Advanced startup using Shift and Restart we may need to try another option.
